What I Miss Most

hello avid readers! (lol) It's been almost two months since the RMO started and well, I was kinda locked behind the doors of my own home a few days late because I was still in the UK when it all started. I know, not a good idea to travel this season. To be fair, during my time there I was mostly indoors and it sucked because we were supposed to go to France and Amsterdam, ugh. This was my first time to Europe and it was not as I expected especially the time when me, my mom and sis arrived at the gates of a closed museum >:( .

since it's been almost two months of staying put at home, I'm kinda getting used to studying on my bed in my pyjamas rather than having to wear 'em thick blazers in class that never fails to make me and my friends sweat like sinners in hell 🥵 I ain't gonna lie here but Bandar Enstek is kinda hot despite your school is situated deep in the jungles of Bandar Enstek haha. anyways, me getting used to this new routine doesn't necessarily mean I'm not missing my old schedule. especially, the crackheads in school, my friends.

I kinda miss of waking up 15 minutes before latecomer and rushing down the block just to make it in time (and avoid Cherradi's fierce yells hihi, love ya capt :* ) And waking up to the busuk faces of my mates in the lounge haha. Especially on weekends!!!! we would usually descend the stairs of our dorms and headed straight to the surau in our kaftans as early as 6.13am and rarely earlier than that. 2 minutes before latecomer and we can settle that because main block dekat je hehe 😎 Not to forget, I MISS PHYSICAL CLASSES AND SOCIAL INTERACTIONS. Bruh I am so done with online classes, period. It's getting on my nerves especially when the wifi is not working and you can't do those things while the teacher is teaching in front. i.e : recording your friend who's dozing off or simply the other way round :")

Since I'm unfortunately a fifth former this year, I'll be one of the earliest batches to be in college and I'm pretty sure my little sister (who is a form 4 in my school) is gonna have the time of her life at home ugh. The fact that SPM is postponed next year, I guess I don't have to update my About The Blogger page after all haha. But seriously though, this postpone thingy could be both a blessing and a curse. It's a blessing because I'll have more time to study of course but it could also be a curse because everything is delayed and I'm pretty sure that I won't have my graduation night because "no mass gathering" policy applies to it too, I guess. But on the bright side, let's just say that SPM results mattered more than the little things you get upon ending your high school experience because you're only in high school once in your life so enjoy what's in the bag for ya :D

Also, I hope my mates are struggling to study hard too because who doesn't want to succeed together as a whole batch right because that'll be selfish of you to only keep the joy to yourself. hua I really miss them and I really wanna hug them so tight :"(

look! it's us taking an oath to strive for SPM this year! I mean, next year :/

xoxo,

a.k.
