The Lock Ups

It was dusk

Preparing for night

The scintillating sun was in shades of red

Signifies the dreary moonlight

For all creatures to shed

One mouse

Two mice

Catch! You're trapped

Inside lock ups

That makes you down

The brave and mighty guards sat

At the corner with a sniper and a hat

Covers his face full of shame

To watch his own race refrain

In the depths of a dictator's dungeon

I'll have Violet remind

And the stars shall align

That you shall never be blue

But be cheerful like the colours of the rainbow

They've shot me with an arrow

It went through my bones

I fell and kneeled

To beg for life once more

And known death was never an option

*cringed
